Hi, my name is Alex I am 15 years old and I am new to fishing on a kayak! I fish in the swan river, and keen to learn some new places and tricks!

I was just wondering what would be a good Anchor for the swan for a Wildernes systems Tarpn 140 kayak with rudder? It came with one but it is shocking!

Hi Macca and welcome to YFW
The plastic coopers is what I would buy if I was getting another anchor as like most people I started out with the metal folding style and they are pretty ordinary in use .
Use very light cord 3mm or 5mm and a few metres of very light chain will help the anchor to hold .In boating they recommend having 3 times the depth of water of line out but for yaks I reckon you don't need as much.
Cheers Brendon
